Transforms the smartphone into a centralized hub for home monitoring of chronic and elderly patients, integrating heterogeneous medical devices — pulse oximeters, blood pressure monitors, scales, thermometers, and multiparametric monitors — into a single platform.
Architecture
The architecture handles multiple simultaneous Bluetooth connections, normalizing proprietary protocols into a unified interface. Each measurement is given clinical context, turning raw data into comprehensible insights with explanations of the meaning and implications of the recorded values.
Design System
The design system prioritizes accessibility and clarity: cards with rounded edges and subtle shadows for visual hierarchy, medical blue for professionalism, bottom-tab navigation for quick access to main features (Devices, History, Trends, Videocall), supporting autonomous use and teleconsultation.

01 Technical Challenge
Fragmentation as a systemic barrier
Each medical device has its own proprietary app, creating an archipelago of isolated platforms. A cardiac patient who monitors blood pressure, weight, and saturation manages three applications with different credentials and interfaces. 60% of people over 65 use only one of the prescribed devices, abandoning the others due to the unmanageable multi-app complexity.
